OSU is in...Mich hold on at #2...Rematch would be OK by me and I find it almost likely from a marketing stand point. Only fitting the Wolverines should be there with Schembeckler passing and all.

USC has the longest round to travel with 2 games left. Notre Dame beats USC, they have an argument, but they still lost to Mich...USC closes it out and they have an arguement.

Here's my fear, USC beats Notre Dame and loses to UCLA which would likely move Florida up to #3...EVEN THOUGH teams like Arkansas and West Virginia and even Wisconsin are better teams.

I'd much rather see a rematch or a game with OSU taking on USC or Notre Dame. Once again, if Florida gets in there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the system.

Michigan had their chance and didn't win their conference. It's a mathematical certainty that USC will get in if they win out, but I actually think West Virginia would pose the biggest challenge to Ohio State. They don't deserve the shot, though, because of their Wolfpack-esque non-conference schedule.

Oh, and Wisconsin really isn't that good. They've benefitted from an enormously favorable schedule.

Lots of arguments against this team or that one...and I'll admit that there isn't any room for an arguement for Wisconsin. I'd put Wisconsin's easy schedule against Florida fumble fucking thier way through the season and 62-0 over West Car.
I see no argument FOR Florida to be there, but you gotta have a Florida team in the mix...it's a state law or something?

If USC wins out they're in. Due to how close they are in points to Michigan via the BCS, a win over Notre Dame assures them a title shot.

Well if they do win out then they'd have more quality wins than anyone in the country except USC. A win is still a win, even if it's ugly.

I don't think it should be Michigan basically because they had their chance at OSU and if you go with the "our old coach died" pity thing then you'll end up with USC or Florida killing off a coach just for pity.

Unfortunately, people think it's a good "story"...thus they will try to further exploit it.
My whole point is, regardless of the others involved, the true National Championship has already been played.

So you're saying that it isn't actually settled on the field? If USC beats OSU, they're not the national champion?
