    I know several things...

Spurrier requested $300,000 less per season when he was hired...he stipulated that the money be used to help hire top assistants.

Thursay they announced 194 million in athletic facility upgrades.

This year Spurrier pledged $250,000 over 5 years to the University.

He just announced that next year he feels USC will win the SEC.

He is in the process of bringing in the top recruiting class ever to USC...

Right now he plays Florida EVERY year...

He has frequently made fun of the ACC...

BUT...he COULD still screw us all. He'll be talking about it at 2 today.

The thing is, he doesn't have to build up Miami the way he has to USC.

Just what I thought too. Of course he'll deny it unless/until he's offered the job.

I would take it. He will lose his last two games at South Carolina and go 6-7. South Carolina is near the bottom of the barrel as far as college football and Miami is one of the top jobs you can get. It'd be dumb not to take it. He would take people from UF too in recruiting.

You really think so? I gotta admit I haven't paid much attention to Miami's recruiting, and they lost to Virginia. Virginia!

I'd think the SEC would be more of a challenge, and that's what he's all about. It's also closer to Augusta National.

well the players gave up weeks ago...

as for recruiting, miami currently dabbles a little too much with out of state talent I think.

Miami has just been raped by the NFL, that's all.
