    I've yet to find a reason to use another browser than IE other than it's not Microsoft. Firefox is just slow to me.

    Yeah, a lot of people complain about firefox being slow, but me PERSONALLY I've never had a problem with speed in firefox. I feel firefox is a securer/better browser than IE. But hey, everyones got their own preferences though...just depends on what ya like.

    ok, I have a question. The fonts on every web page are either blurry or look like they were typed on an old electric typewriter. What's the deal?

    It can be slow if you load it up with a bunch of extensions. If it's slow with nothing added, that would normally point to the computer, but yours is fairly new. Don't know what it is.

    I Googled the problem a bit, and found these tips, dunno if it will help any, so if anyone else is having speed problems with firefox...might be worth a shot

    _________________________________________________________________
    1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

    * network.http.pipelining
    * network.http.proxy.pipelining
    * network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

    Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

    2. Alter the entries as follows:

    * Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
    * Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
    * Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.

    This means it will make 30 requests at once.

    3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

    Slow to load is what I was thinking here. Not really related to the browsing part.

    Where the fuck is the toolbar with the refresh/stop/home buttons and shit?!?!?!?

    I have a toolbar that has the home button with a few other options underneath it, but can't find shit for any of the other buttons. Can only get to them with the 'View' pull-down menu or by hitting F5/escape on the keyboard. I swear I've looked everywhere. I can't live without this stuff.
