John Fox and Dan Henning for correcting the poor coaching of the last 2 games.

They came to run the ball. I realize TB gave us unforced gifts, and there was alot that was wrong. But the major coaching mistakes have been corrected.

There are teams who can pass all the time, but the Panthers are not one of them.

They committed to the run. Even though it didn't have good numbers, they kept at it. Gradually, it improved. You heard Smith say it. They were jammed up to stop the run, and he finally got man coverage. TD. Without that run, its cover 2, and Jake can't complete the passes.

PLUS, the run give the entire team that tough attitude. They were flat early because they were getting beat. Its hard to be excited getting knocked on your rear end. But they kept running, the team gained confidence, then the emotion could flow.

All this from the decision to RUN THE BALL!

Trgo and D has to get a game ball. The D is the reason we won this game.Down 7-0 in the haif the D is the reason we did not go down in the haif down 21-0.The D forced 2 fumble 2 INT 3Sacks.The D not giveing up 100yard on the Run game.toinght we tackle after the catch. We did not let the guy get away after the catch.

Young was right about our playaction, though. Doesn't work. We'll need to start getting some efficeincy in the running game.

We got a couple of nice runs late. That last drive though, Linda, it was more about the time. They were selling out on the run due to the clock.

GAme balls? Peppers and Smith. Those are our A players. When they make big plays, we have a good shot.

Your last point is very true. My bad. But still, the running game was going well enough at that point that they had to sell out on the run to stop it. If we hadn't had those couple of nice runs late, I bet they would have not done that.

Still, the passing game starting getting better, and it just seemed to be as the running game started becoming respectable.

I'm not sure whether the play action works or not, but his solution is horrible. That's what we did the last 2 weeks. We cannot forget about the run and just let Jake throw it alot. Ugh.

I think this has been discussed before, but Jake seems slow on the play action fake. Maybe if he did it better it would work better. I'm guessing he's doing it the best he can, though. He's not a real quick guy.

I'll put that to execution overall, personally, but one never hurts the other.

Jake could sell it a little better, and the running game really makes a difference here. I think the pump fakes were effective, though.

And yes, mention, if not a game ball, goes to Hoover. I don't know if teams will keep letting us have that, but Hoover got us a chunk of first downs on a team that struggles to get them in those situations.
