    ownage? rolf out loud.

fact is, the SEC is The Greatest bullshit has been around for a while. It's the same year after year, only the teams change. It's meant to prop up the argument that their one-loss champ somehow deserves consideration over other teams that have gone unbeaten.

You're the one bringing up last year's bowl games in reference to this year's teams. Just trying to figure which year you've settled on so we can get on with it.

How often does the Big East have big games? Once every couple of years maybe?

Even if you take that premise, that's still a hell of a lot more often than USC has them, isn't it?

Yeah, but it's a lot easier to have your whole season boil down to one game than to try to fight through a schedule with five or six big games. In other words an undfeated South Carolina/Louisville matchup might be a bigger game single game nationally, but a one loss South Carolina team with a scheudle that included Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas would be a bigger accomplishment.

Why do I have to settle on a year? This string never pointed to any particular year. If you'd start at the beginning instead of jumping in half-ass, you'd see that. The "argument" that the Big East doesn't deserve a spot in the championship game, or even in the BCS, comes around every year. Last year, this year, next year. My point is, the top SEC teams wouldn't walk through any of the other BCS conferences and would, IMHMFO, finish no better than second or third in any of them.

    that clear enough for you?
