I know that the schedule is only two games old, but dam, this guy just doesn't seem to know what to do in the fourth quarter.:fu1:

    Example:

Brevin Knight continues to play down the stetch. Four more turnovers last night. How many did he have Wednesday night? A bunch! What's wrong with Felton?

Ely didn't play a minute last night. And we continue to get beat on the offensive board. You think Ely might help! Okafor cannot do it all!

Morrison gets hot and the team decides to have him shoot the ball TWICE in the fourth quarter. Again, back to Brevin Knight!

These past two games were games that the Bobcats SHOULD have won, not might have won, but should have. You can blame the players all you want, but when it comes down to the final quarter, you have to have someone that is pushing the right buttons. And it isn't Bickerstaff! We should have replaced him last year, but NO, let's keep his sorry ass around for another year.

The Bobcats's want a better fan base, but if the team continues down this road, nothing will change, it will only get worse.

Well Ray Ray is having a hard time holding on to the thing as well, I agree that has to stop.

True Okafor cannot do it all, but Ely is not very offensively gifted, true he has some experience, but IMO I've never really liked his game, and Othella and Voskuhl are doing a pretty decent job, Ely shuffles his feet a lot when he gets the ball. Bickerstaff has played with Ely for at least a few seasons now, and he knows his game, if he thought Ely would be beneficial, he wouldv'e put him in.[/quote]

Well he is a rookie, and I believe they are trying to start him off slowly, I noticed a few times when he was HOT, they yanked him and put in Matt Carroll, I think these first few games we might see some conservative plays and calls from the coaches, hopefully getting all these young players used to the NBA game.

This coming from someone who probably has never played or sniffed an NBA locker room. Let's not throw Bernie under the bus, I'm sure he is pissed and befudled with losing, just like we are, but right now, he is our only hope. You want to fire somebody 2 games into the season, bring in a totally new coaching staff, yeah, that'll work great! Call MJ, tell him you've made an executive desicion, and we are going to fire the coach/general manager. We are a young team, the coaches have worked with these guys all summer. They respect them, and we are in this together, stop being fair weather. If at the end of the season we don't have 30 wins, then let's start talking about Bernie, but right now just cheer for them.

Until Ely is playing 30+ minutes a game...the Bobcats have no chance. Watch. When he's in...they score. He is the best player on the team. No question.

Your support of Ely is becoming more and more comical, he did score a few points last night, but fouled 3 times in his first 3 minutes. The only reason he was in there was to defend against the Cavs large front line, notice Othella gets in there before Ely.

    Dude,

Never made it the bigs, but Division One ain't too bad, so I know a little. You sound like a Tar Heel, if so, then I understand you knowing it all! I have NEVER been a Bickerstaff fan , and never will. I have my opinion about this team and AM fan of the Bobcats, but if you think, (and you probably do) that MJ and Bickerstaff are going to take you to the promised land, then you are the one who is dreaming. What did MJ do when he was a GM & owner before? Guess you forgot about that, huh?

D1, I hear ya! Bernie didn't do well at the Wizards, then the Bullets, either, and MJ was questionsable with that team as well, blowing the #1 pick on Kwame Brown. So, I know we've got an uphill battle with those guys, but right now, they are our only hope. Bernie has been a career loser, but I think he is doing a decent job getting this franchise started, we picked up our first win against some tough competition, and going in the right direction now. We'll just have to wait and see, I wouldn't mind sittin' in on some of their practices.

MJ wasn't that bad as the GM - sure, Kwame didn't pan out, but neither did any of the other high school kids taken in the top of the 1st round - and they were all considered high picks.

He was able to get rid of those really bad contracts though.

Amen Brother, as a Bobcat fan we are all in this together. I agree about sittin' in on some of their meetings. I have heard through the grapevine that MJ and Bickerstaff don't really see eye to eye. We'll see!

Looks like in 97' he was replaced, then the Bullets/Wizards picked him up.

Not very impressive, below .500 career.
