it's too bad, though. They were owning Indiana, until Danny Granger undercut Gerald Wallace, injuring him (head/neck/back), and taking out the Bobcats spark plug guy.

I still maintain they are a playoff team--they gotta stay healthy.

I swear to DOG, if I was in that section when Granger bridged him, I woudv'e ran out there and decked the guy! (I actually probably wouldn't have) In that one play, I saw the Bobcats hopes fly through the air, and land straight on it's back. We need to play team ball for us to be good, and we need all parts of the team workin'. We played some pretty good defense in stretches, Adam Morrison committed some turnovers and fouls, but looked good, along with Ray Ray, it was good seeing Omeka out there blocking shots, and I thought Othella Harrington played like a veteran, and gave us some good playin' time. Unfortunately for Freakshow, Melvin Ely got VERY few minutes, tough for him to make an MVP run, when he's sittin' on the pine. Sucks we got an L, I hope this isn't a start to a bunch of tight losses.

any update on him? how bad was it?

I was surprised how well Emeka played - 19 points, 13 rebounds, 6 blks. Figured he would have taken a few more games to get back to that kind of production. If they can get about that out of him every night, we're in good shape.

May wasn't bad either, 10 points, 10 rebounds.

Morrison had 14 points - decent for first NBA game.

Of COURSE they lost. Melvin Ely needs at least 30 minutes for them to even have a chance. :silly2:

As nice as his return was, he missed a TON of open put-backs and lay-ups, especially in the third quarter, which BTW was pretty much the margin that the Bobcats loss by. His line could had easily been 27-13-6 instead of 19-13-6

No way this team sniffs the playoffs this year. They could get nowhere near the playoffs and still beat expectations.

    ok I have 2 question.
My first question why did the REF did not kick Granger out of the game. And will Granger be suspended ????? Also does anyone know if the bobcats work on making free throw in practice. I mean forgot about turnover for a sec. had the bobcats made free throw they would have won the game. Does anyone know how many free throws do the bobcats shot during? Practice. This team is not that good that it could miss 10 or more free throw during the game and still wins the game.

It was a hard foul but I don't think he tried to hurt him. NBA shouldn't fine him for aggressive play.
