    been waiting to see if anyone was watching this...can wait no longer...THIS IS THE BEST GODDAMN SHOW since nip/tuck hit the airwaves...hands down.

    forget heroes.(which i still like)...and FNL and til death and all those on regular cable...DEXTER on showtime rulez...

    You are correct. I saw the first episode on the free weekend and was amazed. What a great concept for a show, it really is awesome.

    I found out a week ago that this show is based on a book by Jeff Lindsay- Darkly Dreaming Dexter. Went out and picked it up a couple of days ago and it reads just like show. I am on p. 59 and it is like they wrote the screenplay almost verbatim from the book. Really good stuff.

    DEARLY DEVOTED DEXTER is the second novel....picked both of em up right after episode 1 and finished before episode 2...very very good. Some elements of second book found their way into the show so far...but has been handled well. already hopin for more seasons!!!! GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!
