    Maryland's better than most people think, but State's been put to task the last 2 weeks and haven't stood up to it. Can't stop the run.

    Chuck Amato will certainly be let go at season's end. I think the next coach of the Pack will be Bill Cowher of the Steelers. Cowher, played at NC State back in the 70's and owns a house in the Raleigh area. One of his daughters is now attending NCSU and his wife is living with the daughter in Raleigh. If you remember Cowher did not sign a new contract before the NFL season started this year and the current contract runs through this year only. Something to think about. I see players flocking to State to play for Cowher, with all his NFL connections. Oh well, just a thought.......
