Tonight is Brooklyn Pilsner and Pyramid Hefeweizen. Has anyone seen Mariestad in stores? I'd drive quite a ways to pick up a few bottles.

believe it or not it's possible to drink more than one thing, Chip.

figured I"d bring this back up - recently 4 6s of magic hat's #9, circus boy, and some seasonal "roxy rolles".

I know, but it's so damn good...I wear blinders 24-7. I still drink an occasional beer...my neighbor across the street is a big time home brewer. He's won awards...I believe he won third place in a national IPA contest last year. His stuff is real good.

For beers I like...I'm partial to the barleywines...Anchor Old Foghorn, Brooklyn Monster Ale, and Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale to name but a few.

those are tasty. You must love the hell out of malt.
Duck-Rabbit out east makes a 'wee-heavy' scottish ale that tastes like nothing but malt and then at the end alcohol. A little too malty for me.

Blue Moon, Corona. Can't put orange or lime in them now because of the new Man-Law.

Funny thing is, all three of those I mentioned use a lot of hops as well. It tends to mask the malty sweetness more than you'd think. Especially the Old Foghorn.
