    Then there sure are an awful lot of small stadiums out there.

    edit - including Bama's up until a couple of years ago.

    No, your facilities are horrible, which is why an expensive upgrade is so necessary. As for money, I have no idea what SC's endowment is like, but I'm sure it's less than Carolina's.
    No one can, though. Not even Spurrier can make you guys better than mediocre, so a good coach might as well pick a school where expectations are fairly low.

    Actually he has some points. South Carolina isn't currently dominating. Their facilities are still lackluster. Spurrier's said it himself.

    I agree with you. 100%

    Collin said our facilities were "horrible." That's absurd.

    He also stated that Spurrier can't make us more than mediocre. This is his second season. We have 3 seniors starting this year TOTAL. We're 5-2. Spurrier won at Duke. Then he took a mediocre Florida to national prominence. The guy STRONGLY believes we'll start contending for the SEC year in and year out in 2 more years. He donated $250,000 himself to the capital campaign...$50,000 per year for 5 years. That's a pretty strong commitment.

    We have a state of the art weight room / locker room etc...No real student athlete academic center. Also need some better meeting rooms. I'd also like the parking lot right around the stadium torn up and replace with grass and trees. They are building 5-6 condo complexes around the stadium now...that helps.

    Our facilities WERE fine...everyone else's just got better and all we did was build a new weight room.

    They still are far from HORRIBLE.
