    I heard an interview with Charlie Weis a week or so ago where he said the only two football coaching jobs he wanted were Notre Dame and South Carolina

    Also coaches that want to coach at a school that only cares about football...sells out EVERY game even when they go 0-11. Has plans to increase capacity to 90,000+. Plays in the top football conference in the country...

    Not a bad gig.

    Collin...you know NFL, but you don't know a fucking thing about college football. You're opinions are horseshit.

    You keep saying that even though I keep humiliating you in college football arguments too. Remember who thought Chuck Amato was a defensive coordinator at FSU? Dude, you know less than shit about anything. I give you credit for being a dedicated fan of your team, but that's really the only thing you have going for you.

    Btw, talking about how your fans still support the team when you go 0-11 isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of the program. It means that you suck.

    You are right. I made a mistake thinking Amato was the DC for FSU. I will be the first to admit I pay VERY little attention to the ACC as a whole. Clemson, UNC, NC State, and Wake...that's about it.

    If I were a coach I would rather be at USC than UNC. I don't like either program so it's not a bias thing. USC just has better thing going on. I'm sure the money is better too.

    Dude on ESPN just said the Wake's Jim Grobe was being mentioned in connection with the UNC job. Anybody else heard this?

    Funny you should mention that about a former I-AA coach...

    A name that's not being mentioned that could be a candidate is Navy head coach, Paul Johnson. Johnson, the former head coach at Georgia Southern, helped lead the Eagles to two Division I-AA National Championships. He's doing a decent job with Navy and has North Carolina ties. Although he didnt go to UNC, he went to Western Carolina and is a native of Newland. Although he's not Butch Davis, he's another choice if UNC doesnt get what they want.

    no, but he is a fucking great coach. i dont see unc poaching another in-state school but who the hell knows.

    That's it. Was thinking Alabama or Arkansas. Didn't want to put the school. If I had typed Arkansas...Collin would bring it up for the next 3 months...

    I think Bobby Johnson of Vandy would kick ass. He's done a great job considering who he plays...his facilities...and the academic standards he has to work within. Set him up at a state school and who knows? Look what he did at Furman.
