Funny. I go to UGA football games for the tailgating, booze, and chicks. UGA is looking more and more like Tennessee of last year though. I think Tennessee got off to a 4-1 start and was ranked really high before completely collapsing. The people down here are going to lose their fucking minds though. I felt pretty good for Vandy though. Their fans were really nice people and UGA didn't deserve to win the game. The call in show was really bad last week with the typical crazy rednecks calling in to talk to Mark Richt. I can't imagine what it's going to be like this week.

 

So, you've gone from being a UGA fan in football only, to being their for the party. And this is your school? Bulldog fans should kick your ass for being such a bandwagoner.

 

At least he took out the ridiculous "Georgia- Top20 academics, top 10 partying" or whatever bullshit.

 

I took it out cause UGA is #21 in Academics (public schools of course) and I think #11 or #12 in partying, so I'd be lying if I kept it around If you've ever been to a game here the atmosphere outside the stadium, the buildup to the game, waking up at 5:30 to go tailgating and all the partying that takes place around the city before and after the game is what a ton of people look forward to, and a lot of the game is secondary for a lot of people. It's a gigantic social event with football being the backdrop, not the other way around. If you don't believe me, just look at the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. It's a football game right in the middle of a bender. The game is just an excuse for people to go to Jax Beach and get wasted.
