It doesn't lessen the sacrifice because He was still man, only He didn't have a sin nature. Adam didn't have a sin nature either until he rebelled.

The other point I'd make is that no man with a sin nature is capable of living a sinless life and therefore cannot sacrifice his life for the rest of us. No one would say that justice was served if he did sacrifice his life.

When you think of justice being served, the penalty must be equal to or greater than the offense committed - So the life of Jesus was of greater value than all of humanity. That's why He deserves to be praised.

I still don't believe my daughter is a sinner. Me, maybe, my daughter, not yet.

I believe that original sin is more about the parents than the child. A newborn commits no sin of their own, but they inherit the sin of their parents by default, through nature and nurture. Obviously, it's not intentional on the part of the parents, but if you think about it, whatever is somehow not right about you or your spouse spiritually/personally, whatever your tendency toward sin, because it's not yet fixed within you, you're unable to protect your children from falling into the same traps until you do. Baptism is a sacrament that includes a ritualized prayer and protection placed on the child combined with a commitment by the parents and godparents to make a sincere effort to change themselves for the better and remove the original sin from the child before it manifests itself in the child's behaviors and choices later.

This interpretation would be consistent with Christ not having sinned, yet being "human". God commits no sin and made Mary immaculate, so there was no original sin to inherit in His case.

I don't think your daughter would be in hell if she died today either

This is pretty much my take as well. According to the Bible, accountability doesn't kick in until awareness does, and people (of any age) are only judged upon what they've been taught. So if a toddler dies a sinner, it doesn't really matter to God because the child doesn't know any better, and will be judged accordingly.
