I've got a 6 yr. old boy who I'm wanting to buy some video games for or maybe a whole system. What is the best? XBox, PS2, or can i just run them on my computer? (I'm not sure I want him on my computer yet).

Nice, it's the "I'm buying the XBox for the kid" excuse. ;)

You should be able to find an inexpensive Gamecube, which has games that are more appealing to kids. That or you could wait for the Wii, which will be out before long.

I think if the kid is 6 I say buy a refurbished gamecube from GameStop or Blockbuster... somewhere they gotta back up the sake at least for a while... let him beat the hell outta that for a year or two then consider the Wii.
