I wish Clemson hadn't lost to BC. It would be nice if the ACC had at least one big team this season instead of being an all-around laughingstock. Granted, the fact that the ACC dominated the 2006 NFL Draft gives some indication as to why teams are struggling, but still, you expect better.

Clemson's turnovers early killed them, or they probably would have beaten Wake 24-7. I was pulling for Wake, but even when the 4th quarter started and them up 17-3 I had this feeling they were gonna implode. Clemson lost another key starter for the year to injury today. Still, they might be the team to beat in the ACC if they can ever get their damn kicking game (see BC) fixed. Every extra point is a nail biter.

That was the most fun I've had at a game for 3 quarters. Frustrated, I went across the street to the Dixie Classic Fair.

At least I got to see the Stanley Cup trophy there.

Nice. I enjoyed going to Wake last year for the ECU game.

Good thing we're playing a lot of freshmen and redshirt freshmen a game, so it won't be as big a disaster as you lamecocks would like. Not to mention getting some valuable playing for our 2nd and 3rd string guys. And oh yeah, we've got recruits like Willy Korn coming in, and bringing his boys with him. I think we'll be alright.

Yesterday's win was not pretty by any means, but good teams seem to find a way to pull games like that out. This is the first year in a long time that I feel like we are good. Clemson finally seems to have the conditioning and depth to play hard for the whole game. Now, if we can just get rid of the damn injury bug.

CFBall doesn't even post anymore except to take shots at me. I guess I should feel honored or something.
