Thank God the Red Sox aren't in the playoffs so we don't have to hear about them and the Yankees possibly meeting. I'm so sick of that and I think the playoffs will be better this year with an AL of The Yankees, A's, Tigers, and Twins

I wouldn't be suprised if that was caused by the beaning. He seemed to change his delivery to prepare for comebackers and kinda started short arming his deceleration - which is a major cause of tearing your rotator cuff.

While I obviously wish it was the Sox in and Yankees out, I agree with you. The overhyping around every single game they play is just annoying. The only reason I like them to be playing on ESPN and Fox is because I get to see it in HD.

The single A club is in Greenville now and I got a chance to go down there for a game this summer - it's a brand new ballpark that's a replica of Fenway. Looks like they are going to send their best pitching prospects down there to learn how to pitch with the wall hanging over them.

I totally disagree. It's proven that knuckleballers can pitch well into their 40's and Timlin - actually the whole bullpen - was way overused last year. If he hasn't had to pitch a gagillion innings, I'd trust Timlin in a pressure game - as long as someone beats it into Tito's head that he sux having to come in with men on.
