    Duke has like 4K students. Carolina has like 30K students.

    According to Duke's website the enrollment is slightly over 13,000. Anyway, it's not about the size of the student body, it's about football fans and basketball fans not being of the same fan base.

    what does UNC-CH and UNC-C have in common?

    neither one has a football program!

    You don't really count grad students. The undergrad enrollment is 6,206.

    becuase if you do, UNC would probably have 40K +, but whatever....you shouldn't be using Duke as an excuse/comparison for UNC
