Ryan Howard has 58 homeruns so far. If he were to hit 64 would you respect that number over Bonds, McGuire and Sosa's Roid assisted numbers?

I think the point is, how do we know Howard isn't using something too?

just watch the game for what it is. People are too worried about records.

Bonds hitting all those HR's was damn entertaining when it was happening. I think you can get into trouble if you really want to nitpick about who really has what record. Even cal ripken probably pussed out of some games after the early innings, just to keep his record going.

Look at Howard now verses 3 years ago verses Bonds now and 5 years ago.

Bonds and McGuire are dirty as Southern Yanks underware (or so I've heard ;) )

Bonds was already using 5 years ago (that's when he hit his 73, doofus), but I get your point. Howard is a naturally large man, but so was McGwire. That obviously doesn't mean he hasn't used, so I don't see how we can definitively say that someone has the "clean record" until we have a much more robust testing system.
