ya think Marty Hurney and John Fox will pay more attention to building a decent offensive line? The defense played a great game today and they still lost with Chris "the gambler" Gamble giving the Vikings the game.

The Vikes should award Gamble a game ball.

Well, we've got two starters down. And they weren't that bad, really. The interior blitz pickup was shown a up a few times, but their play didn't stop up. Foster was his normal indecisive self. Jake was off early, though I did think he threw the ball better later. Obviously, he needs to do a better job of ball protection when being hit, as we were lucky that didn't hurt us.

They've given it attention. They've spend a very high 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder, and 3 3rd rounders on OL, and signed 2 high $ FAs. It just hasnt been effective, so far.

Hartwig needs to stay healthy and man up. Gross needs to hit the fucking weights already. Of course, Gross' pick may never be worth a top ten pick if he can't play LT, but maybe he's got another chance, and some picks have worked out if they played lights-out RT (I don't believe he has).

On days when you're not running terribly well it's hard to see the upside in even Wahle. For Maser's credit, he got two guys out there to play better than they had in preseason, at least this week. That somewhat makes up for fucking up the sure thing in Mathis.

Delhomme had a decent amount of time on his pass plays concidering the o-line.

Where did all the old smilies go? :( Anyway, I agree. He's been fine, just not worth the money. Then again, neither was Hutchinson yesterday.

From what I heard on the Panthers radio broadcast yesterday, it sounded like Jenks was thoroughly manhandling Hutch. How close to being true was that?

Very. I was shocked and awed at how completely Hutchinson was dominated. If you haven't looked over my breakdown yet, by all means do so.

I was honestly happy to see Jenkins still out there in the 4th quarter. Looks like he is pretty darn near 100% football shape. Also helps they have depth on the line...
