Well, we have the stinker of a game from Seattle, then a 1st preseason game where all the starters looked solid, then a second ps game where the D still looked very good, but the o looked just okay and from there on it's been straight downhill. Didn't think we looked that hot in the 3rd ps game where we should shine with starters in more and the final game may have been a W, but it sure didn't leave me feeling good. I try to remind myself that until last year, Atlanta has owned us and not to read too much into last week, but yeah, I'm not even a bit pumped up today. But still...........

    GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!

What do y'all mean? I can't wait to see Smitty torch Smoot again, Morgan lay some wood and see the OL dominate! Hmm, wait a minute, maybe I get it.

Panthers | Hangartner expected to start at center
    Sun, 17 Sep 2006 06:42:40 -0700

Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports Carolina Panthers OL Geoff Hangartner is expected to start at center Week 2 in place of OC Justin Hartwig (groin). Hartwig did not practice all week and although he made the trip to Minneapolis for the team's Week 2 game, it is not likely he will play.
