Anibal Sanchez threw a no-hitter against the Diamondbacks. That Beckett trade just looks better and better.

sorta, kinda. I sure wish the Sox were in a league where you can get beaten more than you win and still have a reasonable chance at making the playoffs.

On the bright side, the BoSox did sign their first round pick, Daniel Bard UNC by way of Charlotte. You should reap the benefits in a couple of years. The kid is the real deal.

I've been a fan of baseball since about 1971 (I was six). The A.L. East was known as the A.L. BEAST then. I am a Tigers fan. I am hoping they don't fade but we will see. I love the Sox also. With the fiasco that has gone on in the past couple of years, give Theo a year or so. It will come. Consider yourselves lucky though. You got a World Series victory with the addition of Schilling. Detroit may not get one with I-Rod.

Theo is on thin freaking ice with me right now.

He has made some atrocious moves. I agree with his drafting strategy, but his trades and FA signings have been pretty freaking bad over all.

Hah - what do you know, we just tied the Babe in replies....

I had high hopes for him, but that comebacker off the head really screwed him up bad.
