My Youth Leader

Yo, I go to church Wed. and the next thing I know, I'm in rehab! I wore a black tee and some black Levi pants and I walk in and she calls me a devil-worshipping freak! I'm kinda confused about the situation, because I am being sent to rehab. She's known me all my life and she knows I am a good Christian kid. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with the Gothic Society, but I also don't encourage it.I know Gotihc people and they aren't no different than anybody who goes to the mall and shops with their friends. Yeah, they probaly have problems going on in their life, but I would never be judgemental of a situation like that. Anyway, I'm conused. What's going on?:supergrin

 

Rehab? you must not mean drug rehab...

 

what is going on is you are trying to find someone or something to identify with. gothic society is not accepted by most so it seems like a cool thing to do. it gives you an identity. you will grow out of it. you may retain some traits you learned while doing it, but eventually you will leave it behind.

i never really stopped having the skate or die mentality that i developed as a teen, which ultimately lead me down the road of rebellion, but i wouldn't be the messed up individual i am today without making the mistakes i made at age 13.

i will say that if you are smoking weed at your age, you will do alot of damage, because your brain is not done developing and weed or alcohol will damage that development.

just a little advice from a dumbass that's been there and done that.

 

It's one of two things: either she's being unreasonably and stereotypically judgmental, or you're not telling us the whole story.

 

What was the outcome of this? Anyone know?
