you guys notice who locke was inspecting the home for? that was sayid's chick, no? and doesn't locke work for a company that hurley owns (remember how he was told he was a the majority owner of a box company)? what other connections does locke have to the group?

that supply drop certainly proves the dharma initiative is an ongoing thing and not abandoned. so are the "others" part of dharma or just another group with toys to play with? i'm guessing they're likely part of the thing, but maybe not. but if they aren't, then who is running it?

and why didn't locke go thru the vent instead of under the horrible door of death? that seemed a little dumb, but then, he was selling mousetrap in an earlier episode so maybe he likes the round about solutions to simple problems.

henry's demand of "no matter what" should have put him off right there. they guy is just bad news and it was pretty obvious from the get go. you don't fuck with people who are clearly looking for a reason to off you. guess that's why they weren't concerned about giving away the balloon thing in the previews last week.

Sayid's chick? Cool. It has been so long since I have seen that episode that I never would have caught that. I think they had him going under so he would get stuck and see the crazy painting on the door. Anybody have any ideas on that?

Looks like some kind of map or schematic to me. I'll be interested if they'll be able to figure out how to turn on the black lights again so they can read it.

sure, it works from a plot standpoint (altho it could have just easily been on the other side of the door). but from a logic standpoint, why release a guy and be beholden to him if you could simply crawl out?

the blacklights won't be a problem. the problem will be getting the blast doors down. is the lockdown related to the supply drop? why did it engage and why did it disengage? presumably you could say henry did something to unlock it, but how did it lock?

i'm sure locke will keep the map thing to himself until he figures it out.

The supply balloon dropped after the doors dropped and showed the map. I thought it might have been a map to the location of the drop?

Also the hostage was caught in a lie. He isn't David Gayle, (so who is he?) He might also have lied to Locke about inputting the number sequence into the computer. Plus, he now has Locke's word that he won't let anything happen to him.

he's clearly one of the others. he certainly could have lied about the number entry thing. in fact, he might have been doing any number of things.

i don't think the supply drop is so far from the bunker that a map would be necessary -- particularly given that a parachute drop wouldn't be so exact.

the schematic looks like something somebody trapped would come up with. either they used fluorescent ink to hide it or because that's all that they could see with the black lights on. seems like hiding it with fluorescent ink is pointless given that the blast doors are generally hidden anyway.

hmm... maybe some tivo action is in order to examine the map more closely.

locke's father ran a scam for $700k, right? too old to be "sawyer" you think?

The map on the door looked like it was the map of the hatch, and it showed that all the doors were sealed. The reason there was a question mark in the middle was because one of the doors (the one Locke was under) hadn't closed completely, so there was a question mark in the main room.
